Friends are easy to make
My friends always bake a cake
We always play games
Whenever it rains
We have a lot of fun
In the sun
And we eat a bun
Friendship is forever and fun!

Butterfly

(An Acrostic Poem)

Beautiful butterflies, flying so high
Under you is the trees and sky
The flowers you rest on, shining so bright
They open in the morning, close at night
Every day, I see butterflies
Resting in the sun or flying up high
For, every day, I see butterflies
Listening to the night with fireflies

You fly in the morning, rest at night.

Ziggy The Zebra

Ziggy the zebra had a pizza pie
He accidentally kicked it so high
High up in the sky

He couldn't find it
So he cried
-- Until he died!

He went up to the heavens
And there he found his pizza pie!

Myself

My name is Annie. I am 7 1/2 years old and in October I will turn 8. My birthday is on the 16th of October. I'm full of ideas to make new games. I have a lot of toys. I have two brothers. One is 6 years old and the other one is 3 1/2 years old. Their names are Musa and Sherri. I can make lots of sculptures with play dough and clay. My brothers always bug me (like, today!). I think I should stop talking about my brothers if the topic is 'Myself' :)

I love to play hide and seek. I love to eat strawberries. I hate to eat walnuts. I can run fast. My best friend is Imaan.

Spring

Spring is the best season I suppose
For it brings us many a rose

Spring, spring, you can wear a ring
Then you will be full of "bling"

Wear a necklace made of string
Holding flowers that you bring

Your brother can be a king
And I can sing

But be careful of the bees
For they might sting!
